The website is operated in a data centre in Germany. Each request may involve the IP address, time, requested URL, referrer, browser and operating-system details, amount of data transferred and HTTP status.
We use this data to deliver the site, maintain stability, investigate faults and defend against attacks. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is secure and reliable operation. Logs are normally deleted within 14 days. Security-related records may be retained until an incident and any related legal claims have been resolved.
Recipients are service providers responsible for hosting, data-centre operation and technical maintenance where access is necessary for their work.
When you contact us, we process your name, email address, optional company and phone details, topic, message, language, consent record and technical delivery information. Required fields are needed to assign and answer the enquiry.
The information is sent to our protected contact inbox. Internal access is limited to people who handle enquiries or maintain secure operation.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual or pre-contractual enquiries and otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is handling genuine business enquiries. Enquiries that do not lead to a contract are normally deleted six months after closure. Statutory commercial and tax retention periods apply where business records are created.
Cloudflare Turnstile is activated when you interact with the contact form. The provider is Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Cloudflare processes connection data, including the IP address, browser and device signals, and creates a short-lived verification token. Our server checks that token through the Siteverify interface.
The purpose is to prevent automated and abusive submissions. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is protecting the form and our systems. Where strictly necessary information is processed on the device, we rely on Section 25(2)(2) TDDDG. You can still contact us directly by email.
Processing in the United States cannot be ruled out. Cloudflare provides further information in its Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
Fonts are delivered with the website. Visiting a page therefore does not connect your browser to Google Fonts.
Our own consent tool asks for your choice before optional analytics and external media are enabled. These functions remain off without consent. You can change your choice at any time through the shield at the bottom of the page.
The nicfre_cookie_consent cookie stores the selected categories and remains valid for 365 days. It is available only to this domain and is not shared with third parties. The legal basis is Section 25(2)(2) TDDDG followed by Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our interest is remembering and demonstrating your choice without involving an external consent platform.
The selected language and whether the opening animation has already played during the current session are also stored in local storage or session storage. This information remains on your device and is not shared with third parties. These strictly necessary operations rely on Section 25(2)(2) TDDDG.
Only after you consent to analytics do we load Google Tag Manager with container ID GTM-PGS7T3LZ. The published container integrates Google Analytics 4 with measurement ID G-HFQRJS5TFN. Data may include pages viewed, technical browser and device information, referrer, approximate region, usage times, a pseudonymous identifier and events marking the start and successful completion of the contact form.
The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The legal bases are your consent under Section 25(1) TDDDG and Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Google may also process data through Google LLC in the United States. Google describes its transfer mechanisms in the privacy information for business customers. Withdrawal applies for the future and does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
YouTube videos use the enhanced privacy mode at youtube-nocookie.com and are loaded only after you consent to external media. Google then receives connection data and may process further information under its own terms. The legal bases are Section 25(1) TDDDG and Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Links to LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Spotify, Linktree and Microsoft Bookings are ordinary external links. The relevant provider receives connection data only after you open a link and then processes further information under its own terms.
Subject to the GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and data portability. You may object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. You may withdraw consent at any time for the future.
